Breitling Superocean

Since 1957, each generation of Superocean watches has distinguished itself by its extraordinary technical qualities, assets that have greatly contributed to the excellent reputation of these diver’s watches. Today’s Superocean is no exception to the rule. Its sturdy steel case is water resistant to 1500 meters ( 5000 feet, 150 bars ).

It is equipped with a screw-locked crown and a safety valve enabling it to automatically evecuate the helium that builds up after a certain length of time spent at great depths. The Superocean is also distinguished by its excellent readability, enhanced by a thick sapphire crystal glareproofed on both sides and by oversized hands. The triangular-shaped hour hand is clearly inspired by the one created 50 years ago for the original Superocean. This diving instrument is equipped with a tried and tested movement: officially chronometer certified Breitling Caliber 17.
