Breitling was founded in 1884 by the Swiss Léon Breitling. He opened a factory that was specialized in producing chronometers and stopwatches. It wasn’t untill later that Breitling started producing wristwatches. In 1957 Breitling presented the very first Breitling Superocean. This diving watch was resistant to depths of 200 meters. This was quite the performance for that time. To honour this original Superocean, Breitling decided to start producing a whole new series of Superoceans. The name of this series was ‘Superocean Heritage’. The original Breitling logo from 1950 is set in the dial. You can find an 18 K golden letter ’B’ up in the dial. The elegant bracelet of the Superocean Heritage is made of woven steel. The watch has the chracteristic, classic look of a divers watch: a clearly readable dial, luminescent hands and markers and a bezel that can only be turned in one way. A feast for the eye.
